手工Pizza







想想自從收到義大利食譜的聖誕節禮物之時,還信誓旦旦的發願要

親手搓麵團,一轉眼也過了幾個月了,復活節都要到了哩。眼看上

回買的Mozzarella就快要過期,加上有一陣子沒吃pizza,就來試

試看、玩玩看嚕。





新鮮的酵母不知道要去哪裡搞,買了超市的乾酵母,加了水跟糖,

沒想到移到heater旁邊還蠻有力的,一下就冒了好多泡泡,也漲

好幾倍。最後發麵的過程也很順利,完全不費任何力氣的就漲了

兩倍大。摸起來也很鬆軟。





我喜歡吃義大利口味的pizza,一定要餅皮薄。這次特地桿薄一點

塗上番茄醬汁當底,放上蘑菇、菠菜泥還有無敵Mozzarella再送進

烤箱烤個幾十分鐘,最後打顆蛋在中間,再送回烤箱烤個一兩分鐘,

就是好吃的薄皮pizza嚕~





餅皮的確還蠻薄的,可惜不夠香。食譜上的教法果然是最基本的,

看來得去問問Cristina的媽媽了。聽說Cri的媽媽做的pizza無敵好吃。

改天一定要拿到食譜!

One of my Christmas present was an Italian recipe book.

Cooking Italian is one of my favorite experiments.

I used to cook pasta. It’s easier to handle. Then I fell in

love with risotto. As you can see from my previous articles,

there were quite a few devoted to risotto cooking. Recently,

I decided to do some experiment on making pizza dough.





I love Italian pizza. I wonder who can resist the thin and crispy

crust with colorful and tasteful toppings on top of it. With a pint

of beer, perfetto!





I got a pretty bad flu a few days ago. Since I was bored at home,

I thoughtwhy not making some pizza to kill time? Well, I did.

And it wasnot really that difficult to make a dough.

At least I managed to make a really thin base.





My favorite toppings are Mozzarella and basil. But I ran

out of basil, so I made some spinach, mushroom to go

with mozzarella. Also I added an egg. The taste was

not bad, it was certainly better than some fake Italian

pizzeria in London. But to beat the real authentic Italian

pizza, I probably need ten years to achieve.





I heard that Cristina’s mother make the most delicious

pizza in the world. Haha, next time when I go to Italy,

I know where I can get my pizza. Cristina, do you think

your mother can teach me how to make a proper pizza?
